The first annual Cloak & Dagger festival is only a few days away from its Saturday, September 20th date, and we wanted to gear up those attending -and those just looking for some sultry mid-week jams- with a playlist that features some of the best tracks from the attending artists. A stacked underground house lineup that features Cashmere Cat, Holy Ghost, Justin Martin, Kidnap Kid, and Moonboots, Cloak and Dagger is going to be a wicked good time, and a refreshing break from the generic big room/trap-heavy festivals that litter the American landscape in the age of American EDM. Heavy bass music all the way to the likes of Cashmere Cat’s wistfully gorgeous iteration of future house make for a unique festival that will serve a Denver area already beaming with a rich house music scene. The brisk fall weather amidst the Rocky Mountain air will be a perfect backdrop for this sort of festival, and we are chummed to be able to attend and experience the last reaches of summer with some proper music.
