It seems like it’s pretty fair to say that 2014 has been the year of the full length album. By the end of this year, Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, Knife Party and more will have all dropped massive records and Calvin Harris is looking to add his name to the list of heavyweights. Over a series of Tweets, the Scottish producer says he plans to put out a bunch of new songs soon and when asked if it will be in the form of an album, he answered with a blatant “Yes”.
The most exciting part about this, Harris plans on releasing this within the next three months, as he stated that it will “100%” be coming out this year. After dominating the middle of 2014 (Calvin also made headlines today with the purchase of new $15 million Beverly Hills mansion) with his appropriately titled hit, ‘Summer‘, the superstar is looking to continue his success with his latest work, ‘Blame‘. While it is safe to assume that these tracks will be featured on the album, Harris has not given many details regarding his latest project.
