Bixel Boys and the Rest of EDM Help Fight Cancer with #FREELIFE Campaign

With Bixel Boy’s recent explosion onto the scene, they are using their ever-increasing rise in popularity to promote more than just their unique big-room-underground sound. Of late, many of us have seen artists from Skrillex to Dillon Francis wearing jersey-like shirts with the massive #FREELIFE mark across the front. But whether or not you know the background of the trend, you know you desperately want in on these slick black uniforms, and that is the genius behind this fantastic campaign.

And while being sleek and stylish, the Bixel Boys are promoting their fly threads for more than just fashion kudos. Over the past couple months, the Bixel Boys have been reaching out across the world by asking fans to submit their success stories over whatever obstacles life has thrown at them. The stories that resonated the strongest with the LA duo were then sent a jersey as an outward trophy for overcoming inward struggles that life dishes out to us all. And that’s what it’s all about. Buy this shirt and support this campaign because cancer is without a doubt one of the most prominent diseases we as a society have to deal with. Any effort, of any size, is worth a moment of your time, because chances are, you know a person struggling with cancer. In this case, all FREELIFE proceeds are going to Camp Kesem, a student run non-profit organization that raises money to send children whose parents have been affected by cancer to a free week of summer camp.

Ian and Rob have opened up their stores for a limited time only to allow the purchase of these coveted jerseys. All proceeds will go to helping the many facets of the fight against cancer:

Now we’ve reached the final chapter of this campaign.  We’re finally going to make these jerseys available for purchase, however 100% of the proceeds will be given to Camp Kesem, a student run non-profit organization that raises money to send children whose parents have been affected by cancer to a free week of summer camp. For those who have wanted this jersey, and wanted to represent what it stands for, this is their chance; and we hope through this campaign we’ve been able to spread a culture of positivity and serve those who deserve it.

More information on the #FREELIFE movement can be found here, where you can also support the movement. This opportunity is only open for three weeks, and then never again so get your jersey and support a valued cause.
