Baauer and Boys Noize have canceled their upcoming Run-X tour, originally announced in a Facebook post by Baauer that has since been taken down. Both producers have attributed the unfortunate cancelation to production deadlines in the studio that must be finished up. Outside of the Facebook post additional details are still unknown, but refunds will be given to those who have purchased their Run-X tickets in advance. On this bright side, this does mean new music from each respective producer is on its way. It’s odd seeing a pre-existing tour cancelled because of lack of studio time, considering that touring, these days, is equally important to an artist as new material. It has not been determined if the Run-X tour will be rescheduled for a later date.
According to Boys Noize,
“I’m so sorry to say this but Baauer and I have to cancel the run x tour.
there are a few reasons why this needed to happen but mostly
Harry and I have to get back to the studio and finish new music.
I am super sad about it and it’s really not easy for both of us but what it means is more music out to you guys sooner.
Thanks to everyone who planned to come see us, i love you -alexp.s. full refunds will be given to those who’ve already bought tickets”
