On September 13, 2013,
Avicii released his debut studio album
True, which went platinum in several countries and showed a new side to his taste in music. Straying away from his Swedish house sound, he fancied other genres such as country and was still able to successfully hook his fan base on records such as ‘Hey Brother’ and ‘Wake Me Up’. Although the music icon is taking off from touring to recover from surgery earlier this year, in terms of music production, he apparently has approximately 80 unreleased tracks simmering on the back burner. We can expect a handful of these productions to make their way into Avicii’s sophomore album, ‘Stories’, which was recently revealed to the masses. Fans have been eagerly looking forward to this album ever since April when Avicii confirmed on
Twitter that a second album was in the works.
On a recent Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply campaign, Avicii’s forthcoming single ‘The Days’ was debuted in the commercial and is set to be released on October 3rd.
