The mysterious French duo has quietly released the new remixes to their 2005 hit album, ‘Human After All’. The album was made available exclusively in Japan in 2006, which made it difficult for fans outside of Japan to download the remixed tracks. Finally, Daft Punk has decided to release the album to the rest of the world… and it’s huge. The 15-track compilation includes remixes from Justice, Soulwax, SebastiAn, Basement Jaxx, and more. In addition, Guy-Man De Homem-Christo, half of Daft Punk, teamed up with Éric Chedeville to bring us Le Knight Club’s remix of Technologic – exclusively available via this album. The remixes generally include a more broken down, tech house feel than the original tracks. This is the first time we have heard any news of Daft Punk since the leaked track, Computerized, featuring Jay-Z surfaced on the internet back in March. It’s refreshing to see the remixers bring their personal style to each of these originals, adding to a fresh collection of the classic Daft Punk songs that we all love. Stream the album below:
