New York based producer and DJ Ian Spurrier, better known as Fareoh, has been steadily ascending through the electronic music scene over the past few years. Not limiting his creative prowess, the 21-year old producer has shown time and time again that he can and will produce songs from a variety of different genres. Whether it be progressive house like his remix of Helena’s “Levity,” groovy-electro tracks like “Daydream,” or hard hitting bangers like “Pandora,” Fareoh has shown that he can do it all. For his latest remix, the New York native takes a different more chill approach to 18 year-old British sensation, Birdy’s Skinny Love. Fareoh does a brilliant job of highlighting Birdy’s vocals with an acoustic intro before adding in a smooth electro-drop that is complimented by funky guitar riffs and gritty synths. What makes this “Skinny Love” remix so special is that it still maintains the emotional feel of the original track, instead of turning it into a dancefloor banger.
