Tomorrowland Ticket Demand Up a Whopping 317% Following Weekend 1’s Success

After an incredibly successful first weekend, the second leg of this year’s Tomorrowland festivities is already upon us. Following a pandemonium-packed three days, seeing the likes of electronic music titans such as David Guetta, Armin van Burren, and Alesso, viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, reports a hefty boost in ticket demand. With Boom, Belgium gearing up for another mind blowing weekend, traffic on viagogo’s website has ramped up, seeing a 317% increase in demand for tickets, as hundreds of thousands of fans scramble to secure their place on the festival grounds. With a nearly identical lineup to last weekend, Tomorrowland demonstrates its ability to expand upon their events without sacrificing demand. Viagogo also reports that over 200,000 attendees are making their trip to Boom this year, displaying the willingness of fans all around the world to travel overseas to see shows and sporting events of this magnitude. Just look at this year’s World Cup. Brazil saw an unprecedented number of fans hailing from all different countries around the world, just to be a part of the worldwide spectacle. Tomorrowland is no different. Although Tomorrowland is comfortably atop the list in terms of ticket demand for international festivals, similar events have seen rises in demand as well.
