Heavy bass interlayed with body-jacking melodies -that’s been the calling card of a Weiss track since he first broke into the house game a few years back, and I Feel Better certainly continues that trend with grand success. A classically powered tech house anthem, “I Feel Better” features a powerful sub bass that powers an intricate drum rack, a plethora of stabs, and a vocal sample that aggressively bubbles through to the forefront of the track. The groove is infectious, and it’s a perfect track to lead into peak time ascension. A quality outing for Weiss on the eve of his Weiss City Volume 3 release, which “I feel Better” naturally features on.
Weiss has had a strong few months, with his “In Your Bed” remix being featured on Danny Howard’s BBC Radio 1 show, and his tracks “My Sister” and “The Guitar Man” both making big splashes in the house scene. 2014 will see the Toolroom man remix the likes of house legend Marc Kinchen and Tube & Berger (and boy how excited are we for those), further entwining him as a key player in the underground house scene, and an artist to watch this Summer. Check out “I Feel Better” below, and be sure to check in later this week for Weiss City Volume 3, releasing on the 23rd of June. Also be sure to scour around Weiss’ always enjoyable Soundcloud, as it’s chock-full of deep grooves and club-ready vibes -a sound that is undoubtedly picking up steam in the states.
