If you were one of the many people who went and checked out 22 Jump Street over the weekend, there is a good chance you were delighted to see one of the world’s most popular artists grace the big screen. It is no secret that Diplo is one of dance music’s biggest personalities, so it only makes sense that he joined Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in Puerto Rico to throw a massive Spring Break beach party. The film brought in a whopping 57 million dollars over the weekend, which hopefully means a bunch of new fans for the Mad Decent boss. In the words of Diplo, “No one can bring Spring Break like Diplo.” Well said. Although he’s the only one who can be seen in the film, Diplo isn’t the only electronic music personality to impact the film, as the movie’s soundtrack features other acts such as Tiesto, Flosstradamus and Skrillex.
