When Calvin Harris released his newest hit single, ‘Summer,’ in March, the track was destined for big things. Shooting straight to the top of the charts in the United Kingdom, Calvin Harris once again had another hit song under his belt. With the progressive track featuring vocals from Calvin himself, it was only a matter of time before the remixes starting pouring in.
With festival season in full swing, R3hab and Ummet Ozcan have been assigned official remix duties for “Summer”. Using the original progressive build with Calvin’s vocals, the track slowly transitions itself from the original progressive vibe into a stronger electro house feel. With the drop hitting hard, the track has the sounds of R3hab and Ummet Ozcan written all over it. Debuted this past weekend to 25,000 fans at Electric Daisy Carnival NYC, it comes as no surprise that the crowd went absolutely wild when this track was played.
