Australian DJ Competition Gives Aspiring Artists A Chance to Play International Festivals

Australia, this could be your chance to become the next biggest thing. YOUR SHOT, a group created with the sole purpose of finding the next big Australian DJ, is holding their annual competition for 2014. The competition spans over 6-weeks along with a full DJ training course at DJ Warehouse. From there, each contestant will play their set at a 2-day YOUR SHOT event in their respective states. On their quest to find 76 hopefuls looking to break into the scene, YOUR SHOT has added some pretty nifty prizes this year that will peak the interests of any aspiring or working producer/DJ. Not only will the winner receive a mentoring session with the dutch superstar, Tiësto, they will also be given the opportunity of a lifetime to play at the premier Australian festival Stereosonic, in addition to an all expense paid trip to play at either BPM (Mexico), Sound Nightclub (LA), Snowbombing (Austria) or Paradise Club (Mykonos). To top it off, an Alize sponsorship and a contract from 360 Agency is also up for grabs as well.
