Theatre Dates Announced for Insomniac’s ‘Under the Electric Sky’ Documentary

Like the rest of us, I’m sure you’ve been waiting anxiously to see Insomniac’s “Under the Electric Sky” EDC 2013 documentary. The film was selected out of 12,218 entries to be showcased at the annual Sundance Film Festival back in January and up until then, many haven’t been able to get a glimpse of it yet. Pasquale Rotella has recently taken to his social media outlets to share the official movie poster, as well as the date for the documentary’s theater premiere: May 29th.

The movie poster, of course, features an owl since the EDC’s theme last year was centered around “night owl experience”. That main stage…whoah. With a hint of a classic, Woodstock-image to it with the technicolor and the promise of a 3D showing (what?!).

Since EDC Vegas wasn’t live-streamed in 2013 and an official after-movie has yet to be released, fans who have experienced the electric sky are going to flock at the opportunity to relive (or reimagine) the ultimate daisy experience in theaters. We will keep you posted on ticket pre-sales, official locations and more.
