The prominent rise of Rune Rk over the past 15 years has been something to marvel. Dabbling in and out of all genres of electronic dance music, it comes as no surprise that the Danish DJ not only remains relevant, but popular amongst the electronic dance music community. With hits like “Calabria”, which he produced in 2003, to co-producing “Bring You To Life” with Steve Aoki this past year, there is no denying Rune RK’s rich track record.
With the new year in full swing, Rune RK is back once again to present to us his newest single “Trash Talk”. With a massive buildup into a thumping electro bassline, this almost Melbourne-inspired sound will definitely have fans moving to the beat. But what makes this original track so unique is the melodic interlude that breaks up the thumping bassline, adding the perfect contrasting element to this soon-to-be hit.
