The mystic yet widely successful Claptone has been on a remixing tear of late, pumping out high quality, deep renditions at a pleasant pace. The man behind immensely popular tracks such as “Wrong,” “No Eyes,” and remixes of “When The Night Is Over,” and “Music Rises Up” is back at it again with a wonderfully minor-keyed and melodic rework of “Sundream,” by the Australian band Rüfüs. Employing his trademark low-end bass line plays intermixed between the hypnotic vocals of the original, Claptone has crafted a bubbly yet solemn feel, a combination he has no doubt mastered over the years.
