Pyramyth – Pharaoh EP

Pyramyth – Pharaoh EP
Label: DUSTLA Release Date: April 7th, 2014

Out today on DustLA is an EP from Mexican producer Pyramyth entitled ‘Pharaoh’. The 4-track EP consists of ‘The Pharaoh’, ‘Gravity Gun’, ‘Taco Bass’ and ‘Miami Borderline Syndrome’. The EP could essentially begin and end with the title track ‘Pharaoh’. The tune draws you in with a peaceful, melodic synth before breaking down into a glitch-hop beat. You then go one deeper into a bass induced dance frenzy before starting over with the melody again. This is the song that will have you on your feet without a doubt.

Since you’re on your feet already, you have the privilege of listening to ‘Gravity Gun’ next. This carries a darker, slower vibe than the title track, instead sounding like it has come from the depths of space. It uses minimal bass sounds to build into an intense glitch-hop drop that would satisfy any mosh pit. This tune truly earns the name ‘Gravity Gun’.

The supporting cast of tracks that surround the EP blend in nicely with the central sound that Pyramyth has created for himself as he moves forward. The album is available to buy here, and you can like Pyramyth here.
