Talk about a power-play from the Lands Down Under. New Zealand’s young superstar, Lorde, and Australia’s pride n’ joy, Flume, have been teasing fans about a possible collaborative project since August of 2013, and we’ve finally gotten a taste of what they’ve been up to.
This past Monday, Flume dropped a remix of “Tennis Court” during his show at the Highline Ballroom in New York, and had the crowd absolutely mesmerized. The track’s been given a serious dose of the Flume-Vaccine and it’s gained some seriously sexy ‘umpf’ (as if the original wasn’t sultry enough). The dark builds are hair-raising and the melodies are supported by fresh and punchy beats. If the energy of the crowd wasn’t a sure sign that it’s good, know that it’s also been Lorde approved on twitter.
