It’s getting to the point that instead of writing an article every time SFX Entertainment acquires a company, we’re going to have a running list of companies that SFXÂ doesn’t own. The latest company to get absorbed by SFX is the leading international event organizer b2s and the brands Decibel, Hard Bass, Thrillogy, Knock Out and Loudness.
Originally SFX had acquired 50% of b2s when news of ID&T’s acquisition surfaced in October. But today, SFX paid b2s $14.3 million in cash and handed out 400,000 shares of SFX stock to take complete ownership in the company. This now adds to the large list of companies that SFX has acquired: ID&T, Made Event, Rock in Rio, Spring Awakening Festival and German promoter i-Motion.
