NERVO may be best known for their luring high-energy dance music, but the Austrialian sisters also hold a deep love for animals, and they’ve now found a way to combine their two passions into one meaningful occasion. Teaming up with LED presents and the International Marine Mammal Project, the queens of the EDM community are hosting an event to raise awareness for the protection of dolphins and whales to live freely from captivity. Called “Free The Sea”, the event will take place on March 19th at Fluxx in San Diego, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the IMPP.
The night will include a high-profile lineup that features NERVO along with fellow prolific electronic stars Chris Lake, Michael Woods and Funkagenda. Those unable to attend can still get involved with the cause by donating or bidding on an oversized inflatable Orca that will surely make a great prop at your next big EDM event. Great music for a great cause – what could be better?
You can get tickets to the event here and learn more about the organization it will support at the IMPP website here.
