The San Francisco based Dirtybird label has recently posted some hot previews of the soon to be released Dirtybird BBQ Compilation, which features 11 tracks from various Dirtybird artists. One of the tracks is called Buggin and is by Justin Martin, a long time member of Dirtybird, who was also mentored by the Dirtybird founder, Claude VonStroke. “Buggin” is a wickedly groovy track packed with tribal drum hits and irresistible beat rhythm; Justin Martin cleverly sampled the baseline loop from A Tribe Called Quest’s “Buggin’ Out”. This track was exclusively played on BBC Radio 1 a little over a year ago and finally the long wait is over. The Dirtybird BBQ will be available on The Birdhouse February 21st and worldwide on February 25th.
