Back in November, Major Lazer member Jillionaire told fans that the dance trio would finish up a record by year’s end. The group stuck to their word: Diplo announced on Twitter recently that the album is coming out next month. The EP will be Major Lazer’s third studio album, following up 2013’s hit-laden Free the Universe.
Besides the fact that they have been touring nonstop the past year, the group still managed to squeeze in studio time with big names in the field, from Pharrell to Sean Paul to Elephant Man. Sounds like Major Lazer is going to deliver their classic reggae dancehall-inspired tunes with a new twist. We’ll be looking forward to more.
