Label: Kittball Records | Release Date: December 9th, 2013
Dance floor fire is the norm for Tube & Berger and their most recent re-work of Strafe’s 1984 tune, “Set It Off”, along with fellow Kittballer Juliet Sikora, is just that. If you’re a follower of all things deep/tech/techno than you are no doubt familiar with this German duo and their penchant for some of the catchiest tunes in the scene today. Following up already massive tracks such as “Imprint of Pleasure” and “Greyjoy”, “Set It Off” employs a melody that is more or less impossible not to dance to. The vocal sample is infectious and sits perfectly a midst snappy percussion and dark yet upbeat synthesizer play. The trio will release this heat on December 9th via their very own Kittball Records.
