We reported earlier this year that the Atlanta-based rapper said that he had intentions of making his forthcoming album an ‘EDM Rap’ genre. News have since surfaced that the album will feature collaborations with several well-known DJs and producers, ranging from Skrillex and Diplo to Flosstradamus and ‘underground people’. Waka revealed in an interview Hot New Hip Hop that the album has no official release date yet, but did mention that it will be released sometime in 2014, entitled as ‘Flockaveli Psychotics’. The rapper even took a minute to show some love and respect for current tour-mate, Steve Aoki. We’re still not 100% sure as to whether or not Aoki will be one of Waka’s collaborators on the record, but all signs surely lead to it at the moment. Be on the look out and stay tuned for more details.
“Steve Aoki is like the electronic Waka Flocka. He just known for turning up. I feel like he do everything I do except without vocals. It’s amazing, I respect him,” says Waka.
