David Khanjian aka DAVI is back at Anjunadeep with a three track EP titled The Bay. You know when two out of three tracks on your EP make it on to Anjunadeep’s yearly compilation album that you have something quite special on your hands, and this was just the case for The Bay 6. Set to release on the 11th of this month, this EP displays a style of deep house that has begun to define Anjunadeep. It’s dark, eerie, and thick with atmosphere, absolutely perfect for a dark dance floor. The gritty bass line of “The Bay 6 Pt. 1” is infatuating, especially when intermixed beautifully with haunting organ-esque pads. “The Bay Pt. 2” continues much in the same fashion, leading with an unforgettable bass line that is intermixed with deep vocal samples and a gorgeous drum rack. Currently residing In Los Angeles, David “DAV” Khanjian can be found playing anywhere from Avalon and Monday Night Social to LA’s best outdoor parties and even Black Rock City.
