Kaskade recently made headlines after a number of his fans were told they couldn’t bring their rave attire including kandi to one of his shows. After receiving some very negative press from Escape from Wonderland, the weekend many chose to wear their Halloween costumes, Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella, took to his Facebook and Instagram to say the following:
Venues are finding themselves in a very uncomfortable crossroads, with increasing pressure to keep attendees safe, against allowing individuals to come as they are. However, looking at his comments, it would seem this is another case of security guards exacting their own personal negative opinions on those they were hired to keep safe.
It is good to see that the artists and promoters are on our side.
