Deadmau5 Reveals New Innovative Touch Screen Technology in Collaboration with Microsoft

Looks like the Mau5 is at it again with audio technology, but this time he’s teamed up with Microsoft to bring a whole new concept to producing and to the phrase “at your fingertips”. In Deadmau5′ latest video, he reveals a in-the-works touch software that drives OSC and MIDI to what he calls “other stuff” and features user-friendly touch capabilities. He demonstrates in the video how to create a digital audio workstation that comes equipped with virtual faders, grids, and knobs. The video evidently shows the potential of audio technology in touchscreen devices, an already popular craft most producers have shown their capable of. While there is still much that needs to be done, Joel and Microsoft gives us a promising look in to what the development of technology has in store for dance music.
