The unique concept of holding an electronic music festival in a theme park setting with special after hours for festival goers was a successful hit in its debut last year.  The August 2013 installment at the New Jersey Six Flags was even expanded to two days and also finished with rave reviews.  But, Electric Adventure New England, scheduled for September 28th, has been cancelled according to an official announcement on their Facebook page. With less than a month to go, the organizers have scrapped the event in light of the tragic deaths at Electric Zoo this past Labor Day Weekend.  The event has been postponed until 2014, and refunds will be given to those who have already purchased tickets.  Read the statement made by the Electric Adventure Promotor at Six Flags below:
We apologize for any inconvenience, but Six Flags New England has made the decision to postpone the September 28 Electric Adventure. For any guests that have already purchased a ticket for the event, you will be automatically refunded. Six Flags New England is looking to reschedule the event for 2014, and Electric Adventure will also return next year in multiple cities. We will see you next year.
