Diplo and Baauer have collaborated with Korean Pop-Star, G-Dragon. Unlike G-Dragon’s playful past hits such as “Crayon” and “GO,” this East meets West collab is more on the dark and subtly aggressive side. The song and video veer towards the eerie side of the spectrum, but that comes as no surprise from Diplo, as he does not shy away from leaving the norm. While this song may be something different from what we are accustomed to, one still notices Diplo & Baauer’s trademarked trap-infused flavor. The track features a down-tempo mood with a nasal, monotonous voice over a heavy trap-inflected beat, squelching synths and a hint of high-hat fill. The lyrics, penned by G-Dragon himself, are a confident manifesto as he raps and sings in Korean:
“I’m the best at self-admiration and being cocky. I’m shameless. I’m so fresh so clean. I compete with the laundry house.”
