Ever wonder what Daft Punk listen to in their spare time? The ever elusive and secretive duo, composed of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have each released an approximate 20 track playlist on the music streaming program Spotify. Several weeks ago Thomas Bangalter took to Spotify and posted an eclectic playlist that featured tracks from artists such as MGMT, Diana Ross, and less surprisingly Giorgio Moroder who, as we all know, worked on the duos latest album Random Access Memories. As a follow up, the other half of Daft Punk, Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo posted his own compilation on Spotify. The latter included an interesting blend of hip hop music and classic rock alongside the odd dancehall track; his playlist was a compilation of artists such as Drake (yes, you read correctly), E-40, Juciy J played alongside classic hits from Stevie Nicks and Phil Collins. Most surprisingly perhaps was the inclusion of the Sky Ferreira track ‘Everything is Embarrassing.’ You can listen to Daft Punk’s personalized Spotify playlists below.
