With their debut EP entitled Invasion Of America doing so well, Lets Be Friends is on a roll, and they have added to their momentum by releasing a VIP mix of “Manslaughter”, on Monstercat Records. As if the original wasn’t heavy hitting enough, this VIP mix takes it to the next level of bass madness.  It’s definitely one of those tracks that you just can’t get out of your head.  From the very start, the duo don’t stray too far away from the original besides for opting to remove the  lyrics found in the original: “I think the most horrible name for a crime has to be manslaughter. Damn, can you please change the terminology? Can anything conjure up anything more hideous?”.  The tempo is also set at 110BPM, versus the original 128 BPM. The monstrous drop is slightly more aggressive than the original, and the slowed down tempo further accentuates this.
