Krewella fans can rejoice, as the Chicago trio has released “We Go Down” as part of their pre-sale for their Get Wet album, which is to be released on 9/24. If you buy the pre-sale, you will be given a free download for this track immediately. For a group that has absolutely blown up on the scene, it’s hard to believe this is Krewella’s first full-length album. The trio has been experimenting with a lot of different sounds, as they’ve been collaborating with Headhunterz, Cash Cash, Gareth Emery, and even Patrick Stump and Travis Barker, but this one is classic Krewella to the core. With Rainman’s grimy dub riffs, overlaid by the Yousaf sisters and their harmonic vocals – reminiscent of “Killin It” – this will likely be a very popular track, on an album already packed with Beatport 100 contenders.
The Get Wet presale hits iTunes today, 8/27 and you can get it here. For those trying to catch Krewella on their Get Wet tour, many dates are still available here.
