High quality uplifting trance productions have been quite consistent throughout the years of the EDM boom, but is seeing a resurgence in popularity in 2013. Â The rise in interest is apparent in the largely positive response to the Who’s Afraid of 138 Stage at A State of Trance 600 in Den Bosch, the creation of a sub label dedicated to uplifting aptly named Who’s Afraid of 138, recent success of Aly and Fila’s Future Sound of Egypt 300 celebrations, and the ever present voice of fans world wide desiring the euphoric side of trance in live sets. Â One artist who has not strayed far from the days of old is Irish DJ/producer, John O’ Callaghan also known as Joint Operations Centre. Â He’s been dropping his most recent production entitled “I Believe” featuring fellow Irish songstress, Erica Curran. Â Adding a delightful twist to the darker galloping original is Manchester based DJ/producer Craig Connelly who’s been ripping up Beatport charts and making a name for himself in 2013. Â The isolated melodic breakdown and extra depth to the synth work of the remix are elements sure to produce the quintessential live show moment of a track arresting your undivided attention: eyes closed, arms in the air, goosebumps, ear to ear smile, and immediate need to ID the track.
