German trance duo, Cosmic Gate, has been ripping up the festival circuit recently and show no signs of slowing down with upcoming gigs at Global Gathering and A State of Trance Expedition shows in Ibiza. A set regular consistently requested by fans is one of their own entitled “Crushed”. The track made its first appearance on the 2012 edition of Trance Nation and is being officially released on July 15th. Crushed features a techy opening beat that leads into a spine tingling build and finishes with a melodic explosion. It’s a track that induces the familiar eye closing, arm raising moment at a show in which one is completely lost in the waves of sound. Taking the trancier original to harder heights is Mark Sixma and Rafael Frost. The Mark Sixma remix features the electro trimmings of a festival banger whereas the Rafael Frost remix drops into a whirring build similar to Markus Schulz’s sound.
