Trance godfathers, Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, worked together on productions such as Loops and Tings and put on epic B2B sets like at Tao Beach Las Vegas last year during EDC Weekend. Their work together gave birth to New World Punx, a side collaboration between the two. They introduced themselves to the world as New World Punx at ASOT 600 in New York City and also debuted their first NWP single “Romper”. Wanting to go back to the classic rave sound they both hold dear, the duo went extra dark and heavy on Romper. You can hear the unicorn slaying rhythms of Markus’s darker alter ego, Dakota, and Ferry’s simple yet hypnotic melodies. It’s a perfect marriage of two distinct musical styles, and Romper proves a promising future of great productions from New World Punx. Check out the track below!
