Deadmau5 Takes on NYC with Performances and a Pop-Up Shop

Deadmau5 is taking over New York City this weekend to perform four straight sold out shows at Hammerstein Ballroom to kick off his ‘Lots of Shows in a Row tour featuring the brand new Cube 2.1. The mau5trap label-head will also be hitting Output in Brooklyn with several of his signees for an afterparty on March 31.

To coincide with this NYC takeover, deadmau5 has announced that he plans on opening a pop-up shop running Friday, March 31 to Saturday, April 1 from noon to 7 p.m. at 157 W. 24th Street, New York, 10011. The shop is called ‘Lots of Stuff in a Store‘ to stay consistent with the title and theme of the tour.

The pop-up is a collaboration with Fancy.com, artist Ron English and NYC charity Women In Need (WIN). English will be in store Friday to paint a custom mau5head that will be auctioned off online with all donations going to WIN.

The “lots of stuff” that will be featured in the store will include – limited edition deadmau5 and Ron English vinyl toys, deadmau5’s personal mau5heads, limited edition mau5trap and deadmau5 art posters and prints, album vinyls, merch from a Kid Dangerous collab, Wearhaus and KEF audio installations, plus other official deadmau5 merch.

Deadmau5 has had quite the year as he recently released a compilation of old music, ‘stuff I used to do,’ is embarking on his first tour in 5 years, and just released ‘We Are Friends Vol. 6.’
