“Selfie”, “Roses”, “Don’t Let Me Down” and now, “Closer”. What do they all have in common? They’re all singles produced by The Chainsmokers that have busted charts worldwide, rocketing the duo into a level of fame that has them playing at the biggest festivals and concerts around the globe. When The Chainsmokers released their newest single on the 29th of July, the catchy collaboration with Halsey quickly rose in the charts. It looks like the rising has come to an end though, as the guys are now sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in their young careers. At the rate that this group has been cranking out hits, however, I highly doubt that this will be the last time they break the charts.
