In 1998, the initial DJ Awards commenced, striving to recognize the hardest working, and most talented DJ’s in the world. The non-profit organization focuses on celebrating all that the electronic dance music scene has to offer, rather than simply appointing victors. The ceremony, which takes place in the summertime hot-spot for dance music,  is one of the longest-running international award commemorations. This year, the Ibiza DJ Awards have selected winners ranging from 2014’s #1 DJ, Hardwell to Disclosure, Hannah Wants, all the way to Carl Cox.
Year after year, a prestigious and selected panel consisting of managers, promoters, record companies, PR specialists, venue owners, media specialists, and DJ’s, all strive to actively amass a list of categories and nominees that reflect the best electronic dance music has to offer. Although the task itself is a difficult one, the Ibiza DJ Awards have consistently recognized some of the greatest, and hardest-working individuals within the scene for the last seventeen years.
Below is the list of the 2015 DJ Awards winners in its entirety. Are you in agreement with the selections made by this years panel? Let us know your thoughts.Â
