The Holiday season is an exciting time for many for a multitude of reasons, the least of which is the guarantee of a bevy of superstar performances around the country, leading up to the main event: New Years Eve. Every NYE, you can find superstars like Deadmau5 and Carl Cox performing at sold out shows in EDM-centric cities such as Miami, Las Vegas, and New York City. While we’re still over three months away from New Years, Live Nation recently announced what is sure to be one of the biggest event of the night: Skrillex and Diplo will be taking over Madison Square Garden as the ball drop in Times Square. The two A-list DJ’s will each be performing a solo set, as well as a Jack U set. It’s fitting that 2014 ends with Jack U, seeing as the duo have truly dominated the electronic dance scene this year. With landmark performances at Ultra and at XS following EDC Las Vegas, this performance has the makings of a legendary night, one that New York City will be talking about for years to come. Tickets will be available starting this Thursday at 2 PM and will surely fly, so grab yours quickly if you want to ring in 2015 with two of the industry’s biggest acts.
