The music community was a buzz over the last weekend, as Tomorrowland opened the window for their Global fans to purchase tickets for the 2014 excursion. This year, the newly extended two-weekend event, supposedly a one year trial in honor of their 10th year anniversary, sold out every single one of their 360,000 available tickets in under an hour.
It’s hard to estimate at which point the tickets truly did sell out, given the queue system that has been in place for a number of years, but with an official statement that the tickets were sold out in “under an hour,” it must have fallen somewhere above last year’s astounding record of 1 second, and under the one hour mark.
Thus far, the weekend choice has not been difficult for fans, as Tomorrowland appears to be offering a truly parallel lineup across both weekends. This remains to be seen as the lineups continue to unfold.
This is going to be a big month for ID&T, as the US counterpart, Tomorrowworld just closed off its pioneer pre-sale tickets window, and is slated to open up to the public later this month.
