Deadmau5 is back. No, not with you new music, but a coffee run! Joel kicked off the first coffee run last week when Zedd made a stop in Canada during his ‘Moment of Clarity’ tour. This time, Joel gives us a very pleasant surprise with Pharrell Williams, an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, fashion designer, trendsetter…well, I could go on for days but I’m sure you’re more than familiar with the name. He’s been making a nice niche for himself in dance music lately with his recent turn on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories and is rumored to tour with the french pioneers next year. With Deadmau5 potentially working on some sort of album or LP, it wouldn’t be completely far fetched to think that these two may be collaborating at some point in the future. Anyways, on to the video.
After two episodes, I can already tell that this is going to be a legendary series. It’s very candid and more or less uncut. Who isn’t interested in watching two music icons just shooting the shit for a half hour? Topics covered in this episode include Tim Horton’s Caramel Apple bagel, electric cars, losing cell phones, Nintendo, and of course, the weather.
